A prodrug is a compound that must undergo some sort of metabolic process before it becomes active within an organism; in this case, it is theorized that 1cP-LSD effectively metabolizes into LSD-25 when ingested by test subjects much the same way that 1P-LSD does.

The Chemical structure of 1cP-LSD is very similar to both 1P-LSD – where the former has a propionyl group attached to the nitrogen of the polycyclic indole group of LSD, the latter has a cyclopropanol group present at this position.

What are the effects and possible warnings of 1cP-LSD?

Although the effects of 1cP-LSD in humans has not been studied in-depth, it shares a very similar structure to LSD-25, for which decades of research has been conducted. All Lysergamides seem to be quite well-tolerated, with the most common side effects being anxiety, headache, and nausea. Although no formal studies have been conducted on the safety of 1cP-LSD, LSD-25 has shown to exhibit extremely low levels of toxicity – it can be assumed to exhibit the same issues as 1p LSD side effects and LSD side effects.
