DPT is a member of the tryptamine class, it is a synthetic indole molecule. All Tryptamines share a core structure which is made up of a bicyclic indole heterocycle which can be found attached at R3 via an ethyl side chain to an amino group. Two propyl carbon chains can be found in DPT bound to the terminal amine RN of its tryptamine backbone.
